Brief Word—June 10, 2024
As another year draws to our close, I want to thank you for your active partnership in educating your children.
Our students have, again this year, made us achingly proud. They have acquired new skills, grown in confidence and maturity, and have developed a deeper understanding of who they are and who they want to be.
I am grateful to our students for all their hard work, their flexibility and resilience, their deep engagement in their learning, and, most of all, for their kindness to and support of one another.
I am grateful, too, to our extraordinary faculty and staff for all they have done to guide and support these young people over the past year.
And, finally, I am grateful to all of you: for your efforts, as parents, to help your children navigate so effectively the challenges in their lives. We deeply appreciate all you have done to support your children — and the school — during the past year, and we value, more than we can adequately express, your continuing confidence in Seven Hills. So, thank you all for making the 2023-24 school year so successful and so memorable.
On a personal note, as I near the end of my final year, I want to thank this entire community for making my time at Seven Hills so deeply fulfilling. It has been the joy of my professional life to be part of this wonderful community, and I will follow the continuing evolution of this great school — and its students — with eager interest.
I hope that you and your children can take some time to unwind this summer. We all need it!
Warmly,
Christopher P. Garten
