Ending 2024 with Giving and Cheer
December 17, 2024
Seven Hills was in the festive spirit in the last weeks of 2024.
Kicking off the holiday season, Lotspeich and the Upper School service club held a Thanksgiving food drive for the Madisonville Educational & Assistance Center.
Leading up to Thanksgiving Break, Doherty students welcomed their Special Persons to campus, the Taft Early Childhood Center students had a friendsgiving, and the Lotspeich second graders and Upper School seniors danced the Turkey Tango at a combined assembly.
During the weeks between the breaks, the Upper School held a holiday gift drive, supporting Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, while the Middle School collected toys, books, and games for The Caring Place.
The year was capped off with musical celebrations. The Middle and Upper School choral and instrumental students had their winter concerts and the Lotspeich fifth graders performed their musical.
Lotspeich first through fifth grade students prepared to sing their hearts out at Winter Songfest. Doherty students rehearsed for their two upcoming performances of their Winter Program, one on the Doherty Campus, with the pre-kindergarten students joining in, and one in The Schiff Center, for the kindergartners through fifth graders.
