Middle School Grade-level Retreats

October 7, 2024

At the start of the school year, sixth through eighth graders have the chance to bond with their classmates during grade-level retreats.

The eighth grade retreat to North Carolina is a highly anticipated adventure for the oldest Middle School students. Over the course of the week, they hike, camp, climb, white-water raft, and more. During this time, students strengthen friendships, take in breathtaking sights, and challenge themselves to step outside their comfort zones.

Eighth graders white-water raft during their retreat.

Seventh graders enjoyed a day of community-building activities on campus, where they competed in teams within their advisories to perform original musical skits at The Schiff Center, played games in Kalnow gym, and ate pizza in the Donovan Arts Center.

For their retreat, sixth graders spent an exciting afternoon at Main Event in West Chester, enjoying bowling, laser tag, a ropes course, and arcade games.
