Doherty Virtual Art Show

Doherty parents have an opportunity to buy beautiful art that has been matted, framed, and is being showcased in the Doherty Virtual Art Show with the help of Doherty art teacher Kacey Watkins. “The students have created a spectacular Virtual Art Show celebration,” said Watkins. “Each student has their own framed masterpiece displayed online.” All pieces are available for purchase with proceeds going to the Cincy Book Bus. The Book Bus buys children’s books for schools in low-income areas to help build classroom libraries and give those students the opportunity to experience the joy of reading. Watkins said students were able to see the bus and meet Melanie Moore, the owner of the Book Bus. Visit the Art Show, which is ongoing, here.
