Girls Tennis Moves on to District Tournament
It was a big weekend of tennis for the Seven Hills Stingers. The first seeded doubles team of seniors Natalie Choo and Jillian Blatt placed first at the sectional tournament held at Mason High School on the weekend of Oct. 7. However, it was the unseeded Seven Hills players that shook the Mason Sectionals Tournament. Sophomore Anika Parameswaran and senior Lucy Callard took out the third seed doubles team from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy to advance to districts. Unseeded singles players junior Neda Tehrani and sophomore Annika Alper took out the third seed and the fourth seed, respectively, to advance to districts. Seven Hills advanced six players representing the Miami Valley Conference to districts from the Mason sectionals. Districts will be held at the ATP Center in Mason, Thursday, Oct. 12, at 9 a.m. Good luck to all the girls competing!
