The Seven Hills School Claims State Championship
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Seven Hills School congratulates junior Nick Williams for winning the 2017 Division II Tennis Singles State Championship, held May 26 and 27 in Mason. Williams won his final match 6-4, 6-3.
Roxanne Price, assistant commissioner for the Ohio High School Athletic Association, presented Williams with a medal following the competition. She noted that the win will go down in Seven Hills history. “This gentleman is always and forever going to live his life as a state champion. He’s also going to be the first individual ever in Seven Hills history to be a Division II singles champion,” Price said. “It’s my honor, on behalf of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, to present the very first Division II state singles championship medal to Nick Williams for Seven Hills.” Williams will be recognized at the Upper School’s Awards Day for his championship.
